The State Research Institute of Construction Materials on the Basis of Graphite ?NIgraphite? was created by the Resolution of the Council of Ministers in the RSFSR of 01.10.1960. 1505/181 and the Decree of the Council of National Economy of Moscow (City) Economic Administrative Region of 23 November 1960 for the comprehensive study and development of special types of carbon materials and products from them, their introduction into serial production, coordination of research and development, design works of factories and organizations of the RSFSR on the profile and subject of the institute. Currently JSC ?NIgraphite? is the enterprise of the State Corporation for Atomic Energy ?Rosatom?. The Institute is one of the active drivers of growth of the Chemical-Technological Block of JSC ?Science and Innovation?, which is part of the Unit for Innovation Management of the State Corporation ?Rosatom?. The Institute is organizing events aimed at creating new directions for the development.
